Loan Operations Specialist - Lake Mary

Job Description Summary:

Position specializes in reconciling loan general ledger accounts, preparing loan payoff letters, as well as preparing satisfactions for paid out loans. The Loan Operations Specialist will also be responsible for tracking flood insurance and serving as back up for construction loan administration, SBA and USDA reporting. May be responsible for loan review, loan document scanning or special loan projects on an as needed basis.

Required Education, Experience, Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Position requires two to four years of current experience in loan operations department in a commercial bank environment with an extensive understanding of financial documentation. Additional experience with booking loans and report preparation preferred. Candidate must work well under pressure and be able to meet strict deadlines. Research skills, accuracy, attention to detail are a must. Candidate must possess a thorough knowledge of federal regulations in regard to all types of loan compliance. Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment.
